Nagasaki: A Guide to Peace
This booklet was originally published by the Wilmington Peace Resource Center on behalf of the Nagasaki Appeal Committee. We have digitally recreated for the expressed purpose of preserving the legacy of those affected by the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.
Preface
We have written this book, Nagasaki: A Guide to Peace, because we very much want you, the people who visit Nagasaki, to know about the Atomic Bombing here. The sadness of the Atomic Bombing was not an affair which came and passed 35 years ago.
There are now more than enough nuclear weapons to entirely destroy all the human beings on the earth. We have no guarantee that war will not happen again or that more people will not be destroyed.Nagasaki: A Guide to Peace was written in the hope that looking back on the tragedy of the Atomic Bombing, we will remove all nuclear weapons from our one and only beautiful earth and build a firm peace upon it.
This has been edited for the use of students and the general public. We hope it will be helpful to you.
