- 1939 Born in Fukui Prefecture, Japan
- 1963 Graduated from the Department of Engineering at Fukui Univ.
Joined Pola Cosmetics, Inc., as a researcher
- 1966 Graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography
- 1971 Retired from Pola Cosmetics, Inc.
Started activities as freelance photographer
- 1989 Established Nirvana Ltd.
- 1992 Appointed as Principal of Tokyo College of Photography
