What You'll See

Visitors begin their museum tour with a short video depicting events that led to the establishment of the NTS and its role in the Cold War. successive galleries detail the Test Site's history and include atmospheric tests, the fallout issues that led to their abandonment, the rise of underground testing, environmental impacts, and the ultimate end of testing world-wide. The final gallery examines the role of the Test Site in the post-Cold War world.

Public Tours Dates and Times

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. The museum will be closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. General Adult admission is $22, Youth (7-14) is $16
