Overview

The B Reactor National Historic Landmark is the world's first full-scale plutonium production reactor and part of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park.

What You'll See

After an introduction at the visitor center, you board a bus for the 45 minute ride to the B Reactor site. Along the way, various landmarks and other points of interest will be highlights. Once at the site, the tour will enter the site and spend about 2 hours viewing various areas of the reactor.

Public Tours Dates and Times

The U.S. Department of Energy offers free public tours of the B Reactor.

Tour season is generally from spring to fall, with varying dates and times.

How to Get There

Tours begin and end at the visitor center located at 2000 Logston Blvd. Richland WA. Transportation to the reactor is via a bus.
