Nuclear Energy sculpture
In 2004, when attending a National Science Digital Library, I was able to visit the University of Chicago campus. While the building where Enrico Fermi and his team produced the irst man-made, self-sustaining nuclear chain reaction no longer stands, a sculpture by Henry Moore stands in its place.
The twelve-foot tall bronze sculpture, Nuclear Energy was created by British artist Henry Moore. It was unveiled on the 25th anniversary of the event.
