Minuteman Reentry Vehicle

The GE/AVCO Mark 5 Reentry Vehicle was carried on the Minuteman IA series from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 31A, 31B and 32B and from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. This reentry vehicle was launched from Vandenberg in the early 1960’s and was recovered at Eniwetok Atoll in the South Pacific Ocean.
