Blue Scout, Jr.

Blue Scout, Jr. was a scaled down version of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Scout rocket. The Scout program was born in 1958 as a method was sought to both perform high altitude research and carry small payloads into space. Designed specifically for high altitude research, the name "junior" was entirely appropriate for this smaller version of the Scout.
